Down Terrace wins at Fantastic Fest

Down Terrace played on Sunday. It was a terrifying but enjoyable experience. Come Monday morning i went home.


Got on this plane that promptly dropped out of the sky like a stone over Memphis. It was meant to be going to Denver

After 5 hours at Memphis i got on this plane that took me to Minneapolis and then on to London.
I came too on the plane as it landed at Heathrow and turned my phone on and saw a flood of emails and texts.
Down Terrace won best screenplay and Next Wave best feature.
Had a little cry in my seat. fucking brilliant.

Saw Dog House, RoboGeisha and Trick R Treat. Dog House was playing the midnight spot and weirdly due to jetlag i seem to be getting a second wind by then. I really enjoyed it. Mrandmrswheatly fave Neil Maskell was in it. Danny Dyer was ace. How long before a Statham Dyer buddy movie?

The bus back to the hotel after seeing Gentlemen Broncos, Soloman Kane and Rec 2
Rec 2 was just brilliant and Broncos was really making me laugh. The Drafthouse Alamo cinema is quite something else. Feels like a cinema pilgrimage. Tomorrow..... firing shotguns!
